Bang & Olufsen Proposal

Keeping with the vision.

Design products which create different possibilities for everybody in an education environment to be brought together regardless of what may be holding them back. We’re aiming to provide users with an equal opportunity to reach their full potential, whilst ensuring that the design falls within the bounds of the B&O’s manifesto.

Deconstructing the brand ethos…

What is the future for B&O play?
– Diverse range of products
– No longer just sound related products
– Making products that make …
a real difference to someone’s life.

Why is this direction for B&O Play in the future?

– They’ve made products out of their comfort zone before
– So this won’t seem foreign or out of the ordinary for them
– This solidifies their design maifesto of “We seek design that matters” & “We design to fit human needs”

Bang & Olufsen was founded in Denmark in 1925 by Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen. Since the early days, Bang & Olufsen always strive to be the forefront of audio and Hi-Fi technology, while also integrating it with clever and beautiful design. During their growth Bang & Olufsen has proven to be versatile in terms of innovation; they attempted to build products in diverse scope numerous times.

Keeping with the vision

Carrying on with the adventurous spirit, Bang & Olufsen released a new brand B&O PLAY in 2012, to reach a wider  audience & by offering Bang & Olufsen’s quality / performance at an affordable price. As a group, our future vision aims to further expand this vision.
